Research Interests
My lab’s interests focus on the molecular mechanism of membrane proteins, especially the proteins involved in lipid metabolism. We are mainly using solution NMR spectroscopy to determine the 3D structures of key membrane proteins, and combining other structural and molecular technologies to characterize the structure, function and dynamics of membrane protein complexes. The long term goal is to provide the biological insights in the fundamental processes of lipid metabolism in living organisms and also enhance the applications in therapeutics.
